How Air Social is helping councils to support small local businesses
Our social media masterclasses, in partnership with local authorities and business development networks, are enabling independent business owners to expand their digital reach.
Events of the last year have been pretty tough on small, local businesses. Now the world is beginning to open up its doors, we can look to a more positive future, but that doesn’t mean the struggles are over.
Around 407,510 new businesses were formed during 2020’s lockdowns. As the commercial competition for smaller firms hots up, how will you ensure that customers are able to find your business?
At this extraordinary time, many small businesses cannot afford to engage with marketing agencies or to hire an in-house expert. But this is exactly the time when businesses need to ensure they are correctly listed on Google and have an active social media presence.
Through our work with Woking Borough Council and Woking Works, we’ve delivered successful social media training sessions for hundreds of businesses in the borough. We’ve also recently worked with Business Runnymede to help support businesses there, as they have prepared for the re-opening of the High Street.
We run virtual Google My Business, Facebook, Instagram and personalised workshops to help business owners take their social media to the next level. Air Social’s masterclasses can give small, independent businesses the tools to maximise their digital reach themselves.
