Age UK

Age UK Surrey provides services across the whole of the county to help people aged 50+ make the most of their life and has been working in the local community for over half a century.

The Challenge

Age UK been experiencing a drop in client numbers year-on-year and was looking to create an ongoing source of leads and enquiries to help boost its current client base.

The charity wanted to focus specifically on its Help at Home service, which connects older people in the county with trusted, vetted support workers, in the Surrey area.

Our Approach

Our work involved targeting engaging advertising content, primarily on Facebook, to thoroughly-researched audiences including people who require assistance, family members of those in need and healthcare professionals who may want to refer services.

We also used existing Age UK Surrey data to create lookalike audiences of people similar to their current customer profile and targeted those following or enquiring about the services offered by competitors in the market.

The Results

We were targeted at delivering 30-50 sign ups/enquiries per month by the end of the first three months of the campaign running.

In the first two weeks of the campaign going live, we achieved a reach of over 11,000, resulting in 458 landing page views and 27 enquiries – an average of two per day, exceeding our KPI target.
