West Sussex County Council was embarking on an important project to promote active travel choices (alternatives to cars), encouraging people to walk, cycle or scoot. The campaign specifically needed to reach parents of school-age children across Chichester, Horsham and Shoreham.
Having worked with Air Social previously, West Sussex County Council knew they could trust us to reach their target audience effectively and deliver their campaign.
Working together, Air Social put together a campaign utilising Meta’s powerful advertising targeting focused on demographics and geo-targeting.
The campaign targeted parents of school-age children over two months from August 2022 to the end of September, coinciding with Bike to School week.
Using bright and bold creative assets, which Air Social designed, the campaign succeed in reaching a wide number of parents in the key target areas. With over 1.8 million impressions and nearly 13,000 clicks, the campaign was successful in promoting West Sussex Country Council’s message encouraging parents to ditch their cars for more active travel options.
