Surrey County Council (SCC) needed marketing support to reach young people about a sensitive and sometimes embarrassing yet important issue.
SCC needed help to find new ways of increasing awareness of free chlamydia test kits among young women.
Having previously worked with us on Covid awareness campaigns, SCC knew it could rely on Air Social to reach their target audience through social media advertising.
Working closely with Surrey County Council, Air Social developed advertising to reach 16-24 year old women across Surrey. Creative assets were developed to make full use of the vertical placements on Snapchat, Facebook and Instagram stories.
Using bright, bold colours and images of young women combined with copy highlighting the risks of chlamydia and a direct call to action to order a free test kit.
Achieving 3,397,519 impressions across Meta and Snapchat, the campaign successfully delivered the goal of raising awareness across Surrey.
On top of increasing awareness, the campaign drove 1,899 clicks from Meta and 7,961 swipes from Snapchat, resulting in direct action from the audience seeing the adverts.
