Air Social Digital Marketing is looking for an Account Manager (full-time) to join its award-winning team of digital marketing, social media and PR experts based in Guildford, Surrey.

The ideal candidate will have social media and digital advertising/advertising agency experience, exceptional copywriting skills, attention to detail, creative flair, and the ability to offer a consultative approach to our client work.

Typically, project managing marketing activity for up to 10 different client accounts simultaneously, you’ll need to be super-organised and able to juggle a variety of different tasks and responsibilities!

Air Social is an integrated, multi-service digital marketing and PR agency that works with local, national, and global clients in various sectors, from social care and local government to hospitality and housing. Clients include Age UK, Hilton Hotels, IVF Network, Surrey County Council, West Sussex County Council, WSP, Zest Technology, and many more.

Key skills

  • A solid understanding of social media and digital advertising platforms, including, but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, and Google Ads
  • Experience in managing and growing client relationships
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with people from a variety of backgrounds and at different levels
  • Impeccable timekeeping. You will often be working to tight client deadlines so you need to be able to work quickly and efficiently without compromising on quality
  • Adaptability. Air Social is an integrated agency that works across a variety of different services and sectors, and therefore, the ability to adapt your skillset is essential
  • Strong copywriting and editing skills, an eye for grammar, and knowledge of how to craft successful social media content using effective storytelling techniques
  • A creative brain – you’ll be brimming with ideas and be able to navigate creative software such as Canva
  • Knowledge and understanding of algorithms and search engine optimisation
  • Skills in analysing marketing data, interpreting statistics, and communicating actionable insights

Responsibilities

Typical day-to-day activities could include:

  • Be the point of contact for a range of Air Social clients, providing marketing expertise tailored to clients’ needs
  • Liaising with clients via telephone, email, conference calls or face-to-face
  • Overseeing ongoing tasks and project work delivered by team members across social media and digital advertising platforms
  • Developing creative and engaging organic social media strategies
  • Reviewing and refining paid digital advertising activity for clients
  • Monitoring, tracking, analysing and reporting on performance on social media platforms using tools such as Google Analytics and Facebook insights
  • Supporting our Social Media experts with creative ideas and content creation for channels such as LinkedIn, Facebook, X, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, adapting content to suit different channels
  • Supporting the winning of new business by being involved in pitching to prospects, but also by up-selling to existing clients
  • Attending client events and industry conferences as required
